Artists For Charity: The Logo Contest WinnersArtists For Charity: The Logo Contest WinnersArtists For Charity: The Logo Contest Winners by ArtistsForCharity
A little late, but better late than never! After an extended debate (The entries were all so good, we had a hard time deciding!) we settled on three winners. So without further ado...
With so many awesome entries, it was difficult to chose just one. However the #3 plate became one of our favourites, mainly for it's clever use of the initials of Artists For Charity in making the suggestion of a globe.
Prize is fridge magnets from the ArtistsForCharity store
Absolutely charming. Clean, simple, and well executed. Some of us found the suggestion of a potbelly to be unique and endearing.
Prize is a mousepad, also from the ArtistsForCharity store
Stunning. The concept is well thought out, and clearly conveys the idea of making the world a better place.

Around The World In Prints - OctoberAround The World In Prints is a series of regular interviews aimed at detailing the journey of a print purchased from the deviantART Shop, both artistically and physically.Around The World In Prints - October by fourteenthstar
In this, the very first interview of the series, I took some time out with Richard, aka lolly, Director of Community Development, who chose two well known pieces by Justin Maller, aka ekud, who also gave me an insight into the story behind these two particular pieces of distinctive art.
Richard, thank you so much for agreeing to be the very first interview in what will be a regular series of Around the World in Prints. I know you have a multitude of prints, and it must have been difficult for you to decide which ones to select. Can you tell me why you decided on these 2 in particular?
Because ekud is the man of course. Also, Two Dope Boys in a Cadillac is the first print I got. I just really like his style. He's one of the first people, along with his cohorts in depthcore, who really pioneered

The Hopeless Dreamer |
Hi, my name is Peggy D'Ann, but you can call me Pegs, Sister or Aunt I came to deviantArt to see what my children were up to, found all kinds of Wonderful art and Artists so decided to stay. Have found so many good friends as well as new family too!
I love to do quite a variety of things so it is no surprise that this place would inspire so many of us to enjoy all kinds of art.
My education started at a young age, due to my parents being Teachers. My younger Sister and I were their guinea pigs, they tried all Art, Music, Science and Math projects on us first! We had a rich existence, with a thirst for knowledge in all things. That thirst is being quenched here at dA and that is Phenomenal!
Though I Love chocolate, it does Not like me so for all you chocolate fans and can't forget the candy fans
